Well, this is it. The final episode of Star Wars: Droids. And what a long strange trip it’s been. It seems like ages ago that 3PO and R2 were taking on the Fromm gang with Thall Joben or hanging out with Uncle Gundy. Will this episode cap off the series with a fitting finale, like M*A*S*H, or will it be confusing and disappointing like Lost? Probably somewhere in the middle.

“Collect them all” is a collecting paradigm that died around the same time as the Magic Eye poster fad. We feel this puts tremendous pressure on Hasbro to keep collector interests alive. But being know-nothing know-it-alls, we have a solution. Actually, Hasbro has the solution. They just need to put it to good use.
